Sarmenstorf (Swiss German: sɑ ː ˌ rmiʃ dɔrf ) is a municipality in the district Bremgarten in the Swiss canton of Aargau. It lies on the eastern edge of the Lake Valley.

Geography

The village is situated on a flat saddle between the Bünztal and the valley, about two kilometers east of Lake Hallwil. It is located between the foothills of Lindenberg in the southeast and Rietberg in the northwest. The municipal area is drained to the north by the Erusbach which opens at Dottikon in the Bünz. History
