Satsuki Yukino

Satsuki Yukino (Japanese雪野 五月/雪 乃 五月, Yukino Satsuki, born May 25, 1970 in Otsu Cities than Yuki Inoue (井上 由 起, Inoue Yuki ) ) is a Japanese voice actress ( seiyū ). She works for the agency Ken Production. Satsuki Yukino in Japan is known for her roles as Kagome Higurashi in Inuyasha, Kaname Chidori in Full Metal Panic!, Milly Thompson in Trigun, Mutsumi Otohime in Love Hina, Tae Shimura in Gintama Mion and Shion Sonozaki in Higurashi and no Naku Koro ni.

Biography

Satsuki Yukino is the youngest of four siblings. She decided to become a voice actress when she saw the anime Ikkyu -san and Maison Ikkoku. After graduating from the High School of Shiga Prefecture Ishiyama (滋 贺 県 立 石山 高等学校, Shiga kenritsu Ishiyama Kōtō Gakko ) she convinced her parents to let her go to Tokyo. There she attended the Tokyo Technical College Announce Gakuin (専門 学校 東京 アナウンス 学院, Semmon Gakko Tōkyō anaunsu Gakuin ) - a specialist school for the training of voice actors, announcers and Owarai - comedians - which she completed in 1991.

In 1992 she had her first synchronous voice as a nameless girl for the U.S. series The Wonder Years on the NHK educational channel. From 1996 with her role as Kiko Ninomiya in Kiko -chan Smile she got regular roles. Her stage name is a combination of a part of her stage name from the rakugo AG during their time at school and her mother's first name. In May 2003, she changed the spelling of雪 乃 五月in the homonymous雪野 五月.
