The Savonlinna Airport is located 15 km north of the city of Savonlinna, Finland and was completed in 1973.
The only airline Finncomm Airlines flies from Savonlinna only the airport Helsinki -Vantaa on. During the Savonlinna Opera Festival also some charter airlines fly to the airport.
The airport has its own wings with the passengers are greeted with a small piano concert.
