Finavia

Finavia (Finnish Ilmailulaitos Finavia, Swedish Luftfartsverket Finavia ) is the largest Finnish airport operator and currently operates 25 of the 28 airports in Finland.

The first Finnish government centralized air traffic control ( Ilmailuhallitus ) took their service under Kaarlo J. Temmes on March 1, 1972. In 2006, the government functions and commercial activities were separated. The government functions were on an air transport office, which is under the Ministry of Transport and Communications, transferred. The commercial activities remained at Finavia.
