Sázava (Ústí nad Orlicí District)

Sázava ( German Zohsee ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located in Pardubice Region (Czech Republic) east of the city Lanškroun the course of the Moravian Sázava and stretches approximately 2.5 km from north to south.

History

The place was first mentioned in documents as Zasow in 1304. It was inhabited until the expulsion of 1945/1946 mainly from Deutschmährern. 1939 of the Schönhengstgau belonging place 438 inhabitants.
