History

On January 1, 2010, the formerly independent communities Schierau, brand, Retzau, Altjeßnitz, Thurland and Tornau before the heath and the cities Jeßnitz (Anhalt) and Raguhn merged to city Raguhn - Jeßnitz. At the same time the management of Community Raguhn, belonged to the Schierau was dissolved.
