Schnaittach (Pegnitz)

The Schnaittach is a 12 km long river in Central Franconian district of Nürnberger Land in Bavaria, which opens in Neunkirchen am Sand from the right in the Pegnitz.

Course

The Schnaittach arises from the confluence of Naifer Bach and Bach Ittlinger northeast of Simmelsdorf - Diepoltsdorf. Some see Ittlinger Bach only as a name for the upper reaches of the Schnaittach, which opens at the municipal boundary of Ottensoos and Neunkirchen am Sand in the Pegnitz.
