Scone (New South Wales)

Scone is a town in the Australian state of New South Wales and is located about 270 kilometers north of Sydney.

The city is known for its race horse breeding, which ranks as the second largest thoroughbred breeding in the world and is considered to Kentucky Horse Capital of Australia.

The Barrington Tops National Park, which is since 1982 a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is located very near Scone.

Also, the reservoir Lake Glenbawn is not far away.
