Scratchpad

A Scratchpad referred to a small computer program to quickly write notes, insert drawings and other information, comparable to a conventional notebook.

Microsoft offers Office suite Microsoft Office on such a program under the name of Microsoft OneNote, which allows not only save text and graphical " gadgets". In addition, a simple structured program ( sticky notes ) has Windows Vista pre-installed and only offers the possibility to change " List " size and color, as well as minimal formatting options, but no support for images or similar.

The Tomboy program runs under Linux, Unix, Windows and Mac OS X. In Mac OS X there is a similar program called Stickies.

With Evernote notes, documents and photos can be collected in different formats, sorted and distributed between different hardware. The notes are both web-based as well as via the Evernote application on different systems, including all major mobile operating systems available. Google Keep or slip afford the like.
