Sean Bentivoglio

Sean Bentivoglio (born 16 October 1985 in Thorold, Ontario ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player Italo- standing since August 2011 at Asiago in the Italian Serie A1 under contract.

Career

Sean Bentivoglio began his career as a hockey player in the team of Niagara University, which he attended from 2003 to 2007. Towards the end of the 2006/07 season was the winger for the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League debut in professional hockey. Then he stood for three years at the New York Islanders franchise under contract, for which he, however, only in the 2008 /09 season in the 1:5 defeat on 2 April 2009 against the Canadiens de Montréal in the National Hockey League action came. The entire rest of the time he spent at their farm team Bridgeport Sound Tigers in the AHL.

For the season 2010/11 has been contracted by the Bentivoglio Augsburger Panther of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga. In summer 2011, he joined the reigning Italian champions Asiago.

Internationally

For Bentivoglio Italy took in February 2014 participated in the Euro Ice Hockey Challenge, where he also scored his first goal for the Azzurri.
