Sean Patrick Maloney

Sean Patrick Maloney ( born July 30, 1966 in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada ) is an American politician of the Democratic Party.

Life

Maloney studied from 1986 at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, as well as in connection to the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, where he in 1988 his Bachelor of Arts and in 1992 received his Juris Doctor. He then worked as a lawyer.

In 2006, he ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic nomination for the candidates for the election of the Attorney General of the State of New York. On November 5, 2012 he succeeded the catchment as a deputy in the House of Representatives of the United States; he defeated the Republican incumbent Nan Hayworth. On January 3, 2013, took office.

Maloney lives with his life partner in Cold Spring, New York.
