SeaTac is a city in King County in Washington state with about 25,000 inhabitants. The city lies between the cities of Seattle and Tacoma in the metropolitan Seattle. The city's name is derived from the first syllables of the two cities Seattle and Tacoma.
History
On February 28, 1990 SeaTac officially received its town charter. It was the first city in the U.S., which, so a capital letter has a CamelCase middle of the name. It formed around the airport Seattle / Tacoma around, which is also called Sea-Tac (but with hyphen) and is named after the airport.
