Seattle Ironmen

The Seattle Ironmen were an American ice hockey franchise in the Pacific Coast Hockey League from Seattle, Washington.

History

The Seattle Ironmen were established for the season 1944/45, as a franchise of the Pacific Coast Hockey League. In its premiere season the team finished at once in the regular season first place in the North Division and won in the playoffs the Lester Patrick Cup, the championship of PCHL. On this success, the team was not able to connect in the following period. Only in the 1947/48 season reached the Ironmen again first place in the North Division.

Following the 1951/52 season, the PCHL was replaced by the Western Hockey League and the Seattle Ironmen stopped the game operation.
