Western Hockey League (1952–74)

The Western Hockey League was a professional ice hockey minor league that existed from 1952 to 1974.

1952, the League by the merger of the Pacific Coast Hockey League and the Western Canada Senior Hockey League was founded, as President of the League functioned until 1969 Al Leader, his character a member of the Hockey Hall of Fame.
