Sebastián Battaglia

Sebastián Battaglia ( born November 8, 1980 in Santa Fe ) is a former Argentine football player who has been primarily used as a defensive midfielder.

With the exception of 2004, where he played for FC Villarreal, he stood his entire professional career with the CA Boca Juniors under contract.

With 16 titles, the Battaglia won with Boca, he is, together with the equally successful Guillermo Barros Schelotto often, the most successful player in the history of Xeneizes.

These titles include six Argentine championships, four successes in the Copa Libertadores (2000, 2001, 2003 and 2007), the South American equivalent of the European Champions League, and two successes in the World Cup (2000 and 2003).

In addition, Battaglia came ten times in the jersey of his home country for use.
