Second Coming is the title of the second and final studio album by the British band The Stone Roses, released in 1994.

The album

After the success of their debut album The Stone Roses Fools Gold and the single went over five years until the next studio album. A court dispute with their record company and the high expectations led to such a long break.

The album received moderate reviews, especially in the UK. It reached number four in the UK album charts, the first single Love Spreads reached to the disappointment of the band's only number two in the UK Top 40 in the U.S., the album was ranked number 47 in Germany number 57 in Austria and Switzerland per square 35

Following the publication of the tensions in the band, which first led to the final end of the band to exit John Squires and then tightened in 1996.

The track list performs 12 songs, but the CD contains 99 tracks. With the exception of track 90 however, these are only silent tracks with 4 seconds each.

1996 Second Coming was released with the live bonus CD Crimson Tonight. The recordings were made ​​in August 1995 at a gig in Pairc Ul Chaolmh, County Cork, Ireland. Crimson Tonight was also published as a separate EP.
