Secret Sphere
Secret Sphere is an Italian power metal band from Alessandria, which was founded in 1997.
History
The band was founded in summer 1997 by guitarist Aldo Lonobile. After some changes in the cast, the band recorded their debut album on un published it in 1999 with the name of Mistress of the Shadow Light on Elevate Records. In 2000, the band was represented at the Helloween tribute compilation Keepers of Jericho. After the second album called A Time Never Come was released in 2001, followed by a tour of Europe and reached a deal with Nuclear Blast. With this label they released the album Scent of Human Desire in 2003. The album was produced by Achim Köhler ( Sinner, Primal Fear ). In the same year she played several gigs as on the Metal Dayz in Switzerland. In 2004 the band played at the ProgPower USA.
The album Heart & Anger was released in 2005 via Nuclear Blast. It was produced again by Achim Köhler. In the same year, the band also reached a management contract with Intromental management. In April 2006, the band played with King Diamond on their tour of Scandinavia. After that, work on a new album, as well as performances began on the ProgPower UK and the Evolution Festival in Italy. In 2007, she continued to work on new material. They also played together with Astral Doors on their European tour.
The album Sweet Blood Theory was published in 2008 on Dockyard 1, the year 2010 was followed by Archetype via Scarlet Records.
Style
The band plays progressive power metal, which can be described as a mixture of the works of bands like Helloween, Queensrÿche, and Morgana Lefay. Characteristic here are also symphonic bonds.
