See of Tyre

The Archdiocese of Tyre is a Titularerzbistum the Roman Catholic Church.

The Archdiocese was built no later than 1124 and included the city and region of Tyre (see also Archbishop of Tyre ). Since Tyre was conquered in 1291 by the Muslim Mamluks, the Archdiocese is a Titularerzbistum.
