Seebach (Bas-Rhin)
Seebach is a municipality with 1707 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Bas- Rhin in Alsace region of France. It was established in November 1974 by the merger of the municipalities Lower and Upper Seebach and is 9 km from Wissembourg. The nearest train station is in Hunspach. Today Seebach is a member of the Communauté de communes du Pays de Wissembourg. Half-timbered houses dot the village. Since 1982, the Streisselhochzeit is annually celebrated as a major festival in Seebach.
