Senador Canedo

Senador Canedo is a Brazilian municipality and city in the state of Goiás in the mesoregion Central Goiás and in the micro-region Goiânia. It is located southwest of the Brazilian capital Brasília and 16 km east of the capital Goiânia. The municipality is part of the metropolitan area Goiânia. The city is the center of the petrochemical industry in the state.
