Sentinel Range

The Sentinel Range is the northern half of the Ellsworthgebirges in West Antarctica. It extends in NNW-SSE direction, is about 185 km long, 50 km wide and separated from the southern Heritage Range by the Minnesota Glacier.

The Sentinel Range is the highest mountain of Antarctica. It contains the five highest mountains, especially Mount Vinson with 4892 m.
