Sergio RodrÃguez MartÃnez
Sergio Rodríguez Martínez ( born July 26, 1978 in Logroño ) is a Spanish footballer who plays in the Spanish Segunda División at Deportivo Alavés.
Playing career
Originally from Logroño midfielder Sergio Rodríguez Martínez began his career as a football player in 2000 at the amateur club CF Balaguer. After a year he moved to the Segunda División B playing traditional club UE Lleida, where he played the next five years. With the Catalans it reached 2003/2004 promotion to the Segunda División, had with his club after two years, however, accept relegation to the third division.
The last years
Sergio Rodríguez, who was able to convince as a regular player in the second league, but did not stay with his club, but went to the Premiership relegation Cádiz CF. With the Andalusians however, he had in the first half of the year was a heavy, which is why it was first awarded back in Lleida. There he found his way back to its former strength, which is why he got a contract with Deportivo Alavés in summer 2007. For the Basques, he immediately became a regular player.
