Serhiy Derevianchenko

Serhiy Vyacheslavovich Derewjantschenko (born 31 October 1985 in Theodosia) is a former Ukrainian boxer.

Boxing career

The approximately 1.75 m wide multiple Ukrainian champions trained in Mykolaiv. He won the Cadet European Championships in 2001 in Liverpool and welterweight, the Cadet European Championships in 2002 in Lviv in the light welterweight. In the Junior European Championships 2003 in Warsaw, he won a bronze medal in the welterweight division. He was excreted only in the semi-final against Saurbek Bajsangurow.

In November 2007, he won a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the World Championships in Chicago. After victories against Victor Cotiujanschi from Moldova ( 28:12 ), Oliver Obradovic from Austria (abort ), Alexander Rubjuk from Estonia ( 23:12 ) and Argenis Nunez of the Dominican Republic ( abort), he lost in the semifinals against Matvey Korobov from Russia ( abort).

In 2008, he still competed in the Summer Olympics in Beijing, where he was eliminated in the second round against Emilio Correa.
