Serkan Yalçın

Serkan Yalçın ( born November 2, 1982 in Izmir) is a Turkish football player in the service of Akhisar Belediyespor.

Career

Club career

Serkan Yalçın went through in order, the youth teams of Torbalispor, Bozkaya Yeşeiltepe SK, Kemalpaşa Belediye Ulucak SK and Akhisar Belediyespor. In the summer of 2005 he received at Akhisar Belediyespor a professional contract and played there until the end of the season in four league games.

For the new season, he joined the Amateur League to Torbalispor. Here he played until 2008 and then moved to Altınordu Izmir.

After he was a game -time active here, he parted from this club and went to the third division Akhisar Belediyespor. At the end of his first season one runner-up of the second TFF Lig was and rose to the TFF 1 Lig. The 2011/12 season they finished a complete surprise from the championship of the TFF 1 Lig and the associated rise in the Süper Lig.

His older brother Hüseyin Yalçın is also a professional footballer and was active for Akhisar Belediyespor until summer 2011.
