Club career

Emrah Eren started with the club football in the youth of Gaziosmanpaşaspor. In the summer of 1995 he moved with a professional contract and against a large transfer fee to İstanbulspor. İstanbulspor was bought out and is trying to create by buying stars and talents a powerful competitor to the big three Istanbul clubs Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and Besiktas Istanbul at that time by Cem Uzan billionaire. In this context, Eren was bought as a great talent at that time.

In İstanbulspor the talent in the squad was not considered. To enable him match practice, he was loaned for the second half of the 1995/96 season to the second division Kartalspor.

For the 1996/97 season Eren joined free transfer to the then second division Adanaspor. Reason for this change was the fact that here Cem Uzan was a patron of the arts and frequently shifted between these two clubs players back and forth. In Adanaspor he fought his way to immediately secured a regular place. Terim was the still unprocessed player gently as with other stars of his team to form a complete player. He looked into Eren is an ideal choice for the modern rights defenders in the back four. In his first season at Galatasaray, he came up with 13 matches, including UEFA Champions League match against Hertha BSC on 26 October 1999. Eren was end of the season with Galatasaray UEFA Cup winner, champion of the Süper Lig and Turkish Cup winners. At season's end, his patron Terim fell out with the club's management and left the club. The new coach Mircea Lucescu did not share the conviction of his predecessor on Erens qualities. So he sorted it out after the Saisonvorbereitunscamp and put him on the list of players who may leave Players out on loan as the club.

Eren then spent a season on loan at his former club İstanbulspor. Here he came as a regular player durchläufig to inserts. He spent the next season also on loan, this time for Gaziantepspor. Here he eked out a reservist existence.

After his contract expired with Galatasaray, he moved to summer 2002/ 03 free for reigning Turkish Cup winners Kocaelispor. Here he received a Stamamplatz right away. His club finished the season in last place and put up at the TFF 1 Lig.

Eren was released from Kocaelispor subscription type. He lay quotes from multiple Erstligavereinen before, including Fenerbahçe and Trabzonspor. For better perspective, he moved free transfer to the Turkish giants Trabzonspor. Here he got under coach Samet Aybaba immediately secured a regular place. For winter break, took over from Ziya Doğan Aybaba. Under this coach Eren was heavily promoted and developed into a leading player. With his team one reached the end of the season runner-up and won the Turkish football trophy. Also in the next game time, you could win the runner-up. In the course of the 2004 /05 Galatasaray tried in vain to commit Eren again. At Galatasaray now Fatih Terim took over as coach and wanted to see his former player in his team. The transfer failed because of the high transfer fee and ended with a dispute between the two clubs.

In the season 2005/ 06 Trabzonspor Vahid Halilhodžić committed as head coach. Under this coach Eren was indeed used regularly, although the coach put him in the winter break on the sales list. This circumstance was with his old Ziya Doğan conveyor and brought him to his new place of activity to Malatyaspor.

After Malatyaspor end of the season missed the league, Eren separated from that club and agreed for the forthcoming season with Çaykur Rizespor. Here too he quickly emerged as key players through and played for two seasons throughout. After his club relegated at the end of the season 2007 / 08, Eren left this club.

He then played for the time of each one season at Gaziantepspor and Giresunspor.

For the season brought him Ziya Doğan to his new place of newly promoted Konyaspor. After Doğan was released to the second round, the new coach Yılmaz Vural put him on the sales list. So Eren joined by special request of Hamza Hamzaoğlu the second division Denizlispor and received a contract until the end of the season. Just ten days after the signing of Eren tratt Hamzaoğlu from his office.
