Settiner See

The Settiner lake is located in the municipality of the district Trammplatz Ludwigslust - Parchim in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The less-structured water is located north of Göhren and about two kilometers southwest of Crivitz. The eponymous town of Szczecin is situated west. The shallow lake is about 1,300 meters long and about 600 meters in the northern part and the southern part of about 300 meters wide. In the northern bulge is a small island. The lake is drained by the Office ditch, which flows through the chain of lakes Millitzsee, Crivitzer lake and Barniner lake in north- northeasterly direction in the Warnow.

On the eastern shore, the forest area Settiner firs connects. Directly on the lake is Settiner the mansion Settin which is used as a hotel. The lake is located in the forest and meadow landscape Lewitz.
