Severn River (Queensland)

Template: Infobox River / Obsolete

The Severn River is a small river in the Australian state of Queensland. It rises in Stanthorpe, flows southwest through the Sundown National Park and flows north of the Mole River in the Dumaresq River, which in turn is a tributary of the Macintyre River. Often the servers River is considered the farthest from the mouth source of the Darling River.

The Severn River is one of the Border Rivers and has nothing to do with its namesake in New South Wales, which flows directly into the Macintyre River.

Along the river you will find a special eucalyptus ( River Red Gums ), Allocasuarina ( She- Oaks ), Myrtenheiden and Bottlebrush.
