Shane Archbold

Shane Archbold ( born February 2, 1989 in Timaru ) is a New Zealand racing cyclist.

2005 Shane Archbold New Zealand champion of the junior road race. In 2006 he was in Ghent Vice Junior World Champion in the Team Pursuit, together with Jesse Sergent, Shem Rodger and Westley Gough. The following year, he was New Zealand junior champion in the individual pursuit on the track. Archbold also drove road race, but was successful on the track, where he repeatedly placed well at World Cup races.

In the UCI Track World Championships 2011 in Apeldoorn Archbold won silver in the all around competition discipline Omnium.
