Shenandoah is a city on the border between Page County and Fremont County in the U.S. state of Iowa. It lies about 90 km southeast of Omaha (Nebraska ). In the census in 2000 had 5,546 inhabitants Shenandoah ² at a size of 9.0 km.

Shenandoah is home of the Earl May Seed Company and the radio station KMA, which was founded by Earl May. The station KMA and KFNF are two of the oldest radio stations in the U.S. and have listeners throughout the Midwest. From 1945 to 1952 presented Ike and Margaret Everly, the parents of the Everly Brothers, at KMA, a daily radio program that became known as The Everly Family Show. Also the sons of Don and Phil Everly were integrated into the transmission scheme.

Shenandoah is twinned with Tisovec in Slovakia.

The jazz double bassist, composer and bandleader Charlie Haden was born in Shenandoah, Iowa.
