Life

Sigismund Felix Freiherr von Ow was born in Berchtesgaden; his parents were Josefa of Berchem and Felix Freiherr von Ow.

Sigismund studied law in Munich and worked for a time as a legal intern; In 1879 he was appointed royal treasurer.
