Siim Roops

Siim Roops ( born March 4, 1986 in Tartu) is an Estonian football player.

Career

Siim Roops began his career in the youth of JK Tammeka Tartu. In 2002 the defender was first used in the Meistriliiga. In the following years Roops could win a regular place. After five seasons in Tartu in 2007 moved to this Estonian record champions Flora Tallinn. In Tallinn he could not tie because he hardly came in two seasons under Pasi Rautiainen to play minutes at the services which he had shown previously at Tammeka. Nevertheless Roops won the Estonian Cup with flora. At the end of the season in 2008, he joined the JK Viljandi Tulevik where he was for two seasons under contract. In 2010 he came back to the original club from Tartu and could be there in two years he played there in the first eleven establish. With the end of the season 2011 season Siim Roops signed a contract with FK Jerv from Norway 2 Divisjon. With the team from Grimstad he rose at the end of 2012 season from the second into the third Divisjon.

National

Siim Roops played in 2007 for the first time and unique for Estonia. Under the Dutch national team coach Jelle Quirinus Goes Roops was used in the match against Poland which was held at Jerez de la Frontera. With the use of the Estonian national Roops was the 200 players in the international game history of the Baltic state.
