Silver Fist

Silver Fist is a Spanish power and thrash metal band from Madrid, which was founded in 2002.

History

The band was founded in late 2002 by lead singer and drummer Silver Solorzano Iván " Belial " Manzano after their band Muro had dissolved. After the band had developed the first songs, followed by the first performances. The group played inter alia as the opening band for Motörhead and Saratoga. After the band had signed a contract with Avispa Records, followed by the recording of the debut album Ave Fénix in the M-20 Studios in October 2003. The album was released in April of the following year. The album included a CD with 11 original songs, and a second CD of the band who covered songs from classic metal bands like Black Sabbath, Savatage or Slayer. Shortly thereafter came guitarist Diego Lopez and bassist Jose M. Pérez from the band. In September 2004 the band recorded the song Killer of Giants, which was included on the Ozzy Osbourne tribute album Tribute to Madman, which was produced by Jorge Escobedo. In 2005, the band performed under the name The Mad One on the ViñaRock, where they played thereof with other musicians on the album songs. In 2005, the band worked on their second album and played more concerts together with Saratoga, Baron Rojo and Medina Azahara. In January 2006 the band played along with Saratoga in Madrid. Then the band played on the German Keep It True, as well as some other festivals. In June and July, the band also recorded the second album Lágrimas de Sangre, which was published later on November 6. The album was resumed -20 M Studios in and produced by David Martinez and Hadrien Fregnac. Remixed by Fredrik Nordström and it was Hendrik Udd at Studio Fredman before it was mastered by David Martinez. Then Nacho Ruiz left the band and was replaced by Pablo Fernandez. In 2007 was followed by a tour of Spain, where the band also played at various festivals. She also played on the German Headbangers Open Air In the same year appeared with Tears of Blood an English version of Lágrimas de Sangre, with Lifeforce Records took over distribution.

Style

The band plays a mix of power and thrash metal, which also partially borrowed from the Progressive Metal can be heard.
