Silvertip ( Hasemania nana )

The silvertip or Silberspitzensalmler ( Hasemania nana, Syn: Tetragonopterus nanus, Hemigrammus nanus, Hasemania marginata ) is a peaceful schooling fish. In 1937 the now popular freshwater ornamental fish was first introduced to Europe.

Dissemination

He's in the São Francisco in southeastern Brazil and is home to the headwaters of the Rio Purus. These waters have clear white or black water.

Features
