Simone Grippo

Career

The midfielder started his professional career at FC Basel, where he was regularly used in the U -21 team, but the leap to the first team could not. He was then awarded to FC Concordia Basel, where he became an integral part of the team and has established itself as a regular player. Grippo returned after the loan period expires in the summer of 2008 not to FC Basel back, but moved again on loan to the club AC Bellinzona.

His stint with AC Bellinzona but ended very quickly ( he completed no single game ), just a month later because the Italian Serie A AC Chievo Verona climber took him under contract. There he could be the first attempt does not prevail and only played two league games. In February 2009, the loan to second division club Piacenza Calcio followed. The midfielder has been used in Piacenza in three series B games, and returned in the summer of 2009 back to Chievo Verona. After Grippo again had not been able to impose, he left again on loan to the club and joined the third division side AC Lumezzane. The 2010-11 season he played on loan at Frosinone Calcio in Serie B.

In summer 2011, Grippo later moved to Lugano and a year, in summer 2012, he joined Servette. After the 2012/13 season, his contract was not renewed at Servette. After half a year as a club loser, he moved on 19 December 2013 FC Vaduz.
