Sin Sang-woo

Sin Sang -woo ( born December 12, 1987 in Seoul) is a South Korean professional ice hockey player who stands since 2013 in Daemyung Sangmu in the Asia League Ice Hockey under contract.

Career

Sin Sang -woo began his career as a hockey player in the team of Gwang Seon High School. At 17, he moved for four years to Korea University. There, the Anyang Halla, one of the two South Korean teams in the Asia League Ice Hockey became aware of him. In both 2010 and 2011, he was with his team win the championship. Since 2013 he plays for Daemyung Sangmu, the third South Korean team in the newly formed Asia League Ice Hockey.

Internationally

For South Korea, Sin Sang -woo has already participated in the Division II of the U-18 World Cup 2005.

For the men's national team, he was first nominated in Division I of the 2008 World Championship. In 2011 and 2012 represented his country Sin again at the World Championship Division I. After climbing through a 3-2 win over hosts Poland, here Sin succeeded the beginning of the second period to make the score 2-2, South Korea played at the next World Cup first time in 2013 in Division IA.

In the Asian Winter Games in 2011 he won with the South Korean team behind Kazakhstan and Japan the bronze medal. He also took with the South Korean team in November 2012 in the qualifying tournament for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi part.
