Sinamore

Sinamore is a Finnish gothic metal band from Hamina.

Biography

The three childhood friends Mikko Heikkilä, Jarno Uski and Miika Hostikka founded in 1998, the band HALF LIFE with which they 2000 their first demo recording My Grace published, it was followed by another demo recordings Agony and She and the Devil.

In the spring of 2002, Tommi Muhli joined as second guitarist for the trio. At the time, called the band H / L, the name was shortened HALF LIFE. The first joint demo recording as a quartet called Sleeping Away, the fifth overall was published in 2004 together with producer Teemu Aalto under the name Follow into the Cry. A little Japanese label showed interest in them, but due to problems of the contract was terminated. Shortly after, the band changed its name to Sinamore.

In January of 2006, the debut album of the four fins, which although already longer unpublished stood ready appeared, but still some corrections before the publication had to be subjected under the name A New Day. The plate was highly praised by the international press, including in Orcus magazine where Sinamore were titled as newcomer of the month.

A year later appeared in January 2007, the second album of the group under the name of Seven Sins A Second.

On October 9, 2008 Sinamore announced on their website that Tommi Muhli has left the band. He cited personal reasons. Nevertheless, the now planning a forced way to its origins returned trio, continue as planned to work on her third studio album.

Since April 26, 2009 Sinamore is again a quartet, Sami Hauru of ID: Exorcist was announced as the new second guitarist of the band.
