Sinan Bolat ( born September 3, 1988 in Kayseri ) is a Belgian- Turkish football goalkeeper.

Career

Club career

KRC Genk

Sinan Bolat, who as a child with his parents immigrated to Belgium, started his career at the age of 16 years at the Belgian first division club KRC Genk, but managed only to a few uses.

Standard Liege

On December 29, 2008, he signed a contract for four and a half years at Standard Liege. The transfer fee was € 150,000. 2008/ 09 he was with his club Belgian champion. From the 2009/10 season became Bolat for goalkeeper and was in season 2010/11 Belgian Cup winners.

FC Porto

In the summer of 2013, he joined the Portuguese giants FC Porto.

Kayserispor (loan )

After he came there in the first round to just four appearances in the second team and not once had accrued for the pros, he was loaned for the second half of the 2013/14 season to the Turkish first division club Kayserispor, the club of his hometown of Kayseri.

National

He completed two games for the Turkish U -21 squad and is in the senior team. On November 15, 2011 was Sinan Bolat from the beginning in the play-off second leg against Croatia, which ended 0-0 on the field.

Others

On December 9, 2009 as the first goalkeeper out of the game, he scored a goal in the Champions League. Through his headed goal for a 1-1 draw against AZ Alkmaar in the fifth minute of stoppage time, his club to the UEFA Europa League could qualify.
