Sina is a small, bowl -shaped impact crater on the moon in front of the plane of the Sea of ​​Tranquility, to the south of the crater Cajal and west of Cauchy.

The crater was officially named by the IAU in 1935 after the Austrian philanthropist and astronomer Simon of Sina.
