Siobhan McMahon

Siobhan McMahon ( born July 4, 1984 in Bellshill ) is a Scottish politician and member of the Labour Party.

McMahon attended the Glasgow Caledonian University and graduated as Bachelor in politics, history and sociology. Subsequently, she worked for her father, Mr Michael McMahon, as well as the Scottish Secretary Jim Murphy worked.

McMahon joined the Scottish Parliament elections in 2011 as a contestant on the Regional Evaluation of the Labour Party for the election Region Central Scotland. On the basis of the election result she succeeded as one of three Labour politicians of the catchment in the Scottish Parliament for Central Scotland. Because she suffers even under spastic paralysis, she has been in Parliament next to the subject area of International Relations with the areas of disability and care. With Michael and Siobhan McMahon for the first time father and daughter sit as Members of the Scottish Parliament.
