Sisto Scilligo

Michele Sisto Scilligo (* 1911, † 1992) from Formazza is a former Italian skier and was a member of the Mountain School in 1934 founded the Italian armed forces, the Scuola Militare di Alpinismo, eventually became the Centro Alpino Addestramento emerged.

Success (selection)

Scilligo won in 1931 in the Italian Championship, the silver medal in the 18 -km cross-country skiing. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1933, he scored in the 4x10 km relay along with Frederico De Zulian, Andrea Veurich and Severino Menardi fifth place.

At the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen Scilligo was a member of the Italian winning team - his teammates were Enrico Silvestri, Luigi and Stefano perenni Sertorelli - the demonstration competition military patrol.
