Sleep and Release is the second album by the Scottish band Aereogramme. It was released on 18 February 2003.

Style and reception

In " Sleep and Release " process Aereogramme influences of Mogwai, Weezer, Sigur Rós and Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The music magazine Visions also recognized similarities to The Notwist and called " Sleep and Release " in the output 121 is a "masterpiece". From Allmusic Guide got " Sleep and Release " four out of five stars and the award for "AMG Album Pick".

The album was " 150 plates for eternity " recorded in 2006 by the readers of the magazine Visions in the list of which was published in issue 150. When setting up the 50 best records since 1999, published by the editors of Plattentests.de early 2010, the album was ranked 37th in an interview called singer Craig B " Sleep and Release " later than his preferred Aereogramme album.
