Slovakia men's national volleyball team

The Slovak national volleyball team of men is a selection of players who Slovenská Volejbalová Federacia represented in international tournaments and international matches. The team was established in 1993 after the breakup of Czechoslovakia.

History

World cup

Slovakia has never played in a World Volleyball Championship.

Olympic games

Slovakia could not even qualify for the Olympic Games themselves.

European

The first participation in a European Volleyball Championship was achieved by the Slovaks in eighth their best result. 2001 and 2003 they occupied positions nine and eleven. At the European Championships in 2007 it reached only to the twelfth grade.

World Cup

Slovakia has not previously played in the World Cup.

World League

The World League was previously held without participation of Slovak.

Europe League

At the premiere of the Europa League, the Slovaks were 2004 eighth. After the six squares (2005) and seven ( 2006), they reached the Final Four for the first time in 2007 and occupied the third place. The 2008 competition they won in the final against the Netherlands.
