Smith's Parish

Smiths Parish denotes a 4.9 km ² Administrative Region of Bermuda with 5,373 inhabitants ( 2012).

The in German-speaking countries comparable to a county Parish is located in the northeast of the main island of Grand Bermudan Bermuda on the west side of Harrington Sound. The area is hilly, Town Hill, at 76 meters the highest point of Bermuda, is located here. Near the southern Atlantic coast is the Spittal Pond, one of the few lakes in Bermuda.

Smith 's Parish is bordered to the west Devonshire Parish and east to the Hamilton Parish. The administrative area is named after the English aristocrat Thomas Smith ( 1588-1624 ).
