The Smith Street Motorway (or Smith Street Extension ) is a short highway on the Gold Coast in the extreme southeast of the Australian state of Queensland. It connects the Gold Coast Highway (S2 ) in Southport to the west with the Pacific Motorway (M1).

The street is 5 km far from the Pacific Motorway ( Exit 66 ) extended to the intersection with the highway as Parklands Drive. From then on, she leads a dual carriageway up to the High Street in Southport, then turn onto North Street to the Gold Coast Highway.

Along this route are the Griffith University ( Gold Coast campus) and Parklands Gold Coast, the exhibition center of Southport. The Gold Coast University Hospital will also occur on this route.

A remarkable red pedestrian bridge over the Smith Street was completed in 2007. It connects the Parklands campus of Griffith University with the new terrain on the south side of Smith Street.
