Solar eclipse of December 25, 2000

The partial eclipse of December 25, 2000, the last of four partial solar eclipses in 2000 and also the last of a total of 228 solar eclipses in the 20th century. As only one of the four solar eclipses of 2000, she was comfortable to watch from relatively densely populated areas (USA and Mexico) at lunchtime. However, their maximum phase was horizontnah achieved in the sparsely populated northern Canada.
