Solar eclipse of October 24, 1995

The solar eclipse of 24 October 1995 was a total solar eclipse, in which the central line from Iran to India and Thailand of time, and then north to Indonesia over, pulled far into the western Pacific. Up to the maximum in the South China Sea north of the big island of Kalimantan, the umbra of the moon moved over densely populated areas, then we went down to small islands just across the sea. Thus, this eclipse was observed almost exclusively in the local morning time.
