Solty Rei

Solty Rei (Japaneseソルティ レイ, Soruti Rei) is an anime television series of the studio Gonzo. The series was adapted as a manga and translated into several languages.

The work can be classified in the genre of action, drama, and science fiction.

Action

In a distant future, people are divided into two groups: Registered and Unregistered. The two groups are separated by a large wall. Roy Revant, a registered man and bounty hunter finds that one day the robot girl Solty. Solty adapts over time to the people and behaves more and more like one. But she did not forget that she is a robot. Roy begins with Solty the search for his daughter Rita Revant. The trail leads them to Rose Anderson. But this denies, first, that she is the daughter of Roy.

Production and publication

The series was produced in 2005 by Studio Gonzo, directed by Yoshimasa Hiraike. The character design designed Shujirō Hamakawa and artistic director Toshihiro Kohama was. The series was broadcast from 6 October 2005 to broadcaster TV Asahi in Japan.

The anime was broadcast in English by the transmitter Animax -asia and Anime Selects, in Spanish by Animax Latin America. He was also translated into French and Portuguese.

In German, the series is published by OVA Films and aired from September 13, 2007 by Animax.

Synchronization

The German version has been synchronized in the G & G studios.

Music

The music of the series was composed by Toshiyuki Omori. Was used for the opening credits of the song clover meg rock. Closing credits title are:

Manga

As of June 2006, a manga to the series by the author Noboru Kibuya and the signatory Takimiya Kazutaka appeared from the publisher Ichijinsha in Japan. The adaptation entitled SoltyRei ~ Aka no Shukujo ( SoltyRei -赤 の 淑女- ) first appeared in the magazine Gekkan Comic REX and later in an anthology.
