Sonic & Sega All - Stars Racing is a fun - racer video game that developed by Sumo Digital and in 2010 appeared on the 7th generation game consoles and for PC and can be seen as an alternative for Mario Kart Wii and DS. All versions feature a multiplayer mode, at the console for up to four players online up to eight.
Game History
You can drive single race and Grand Prix tournaments. There is also a Mission mode, where each character gets special tasks which will be assessed in the ranks of AAA, AA, A, B, C, D and E.
Characters
From the video games by Sega and Sonic Team, there are 19 different characters, which you can control. Initially, only 8 of which characters are available. Above all, there are 7 characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog games, two of which must also be enabled. The Sonic the Hedgehog characters are Sonic the Hedgehog, Miles " Tails " Prower, Knuckles the Echidna, Amy Rose, Dr. Eggman, Big the Cat and Shadow the Hedgehog. For other games, among others, Amigo from Samba de Amigo, Billy Hatcher from Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, Aiai from Super Monkey Ball and Alex Kidd are available. On the Wii you can also control their own Mii, which you also only have to unlock.
Gameplay
The gameplay is largely similar to that of Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart DS. The items, which can be found on the track, have similar functions as the Mario Kart items. Each character also has his own vehicle; Sonic, for example, a race car, Dr. Eggman a monster truck and a motorcycle Shadow. In addition, the turbo when drifting can triple charge, the longer you drift. There is also a special item for each character, the so-called All-Star, whose use increased speed, invulnerability and many additional special attack makes available temporarily. So Sonic gets as All-Star, the 7 Chaos Emeralds in respect of which he transforms into Super Sonic and can continually create a sonic boom, which accelerates it again and paralyzes all enemies nearby. In contrast, Dr. Eggman can make his monster truck to the aircraft and throw missiles.
