Sophie Dahl

Sophie Dahl ( born September 15, 1977 in London) is a British fashion model and writer. She is the granddaughter of the writer Roald Dahl and actress Patricia Neal and the theater and film actor Stanley Holloway. Her mother is the British author and actress Tessa Dahl, her father, the actor Julian Holloway.

Dahl worked as a photo model (Elle, Harper 's Bazaar, Vogue and others) and published in 2003 the novel The Man with the Dancing Eyes ( List Verlag ). She also writes short stories for magazines, has appeared in the films Best, Mad Cows, Stories of Lost Souls, and others, as well as Juliet in a BBC Radio production ( Romeo & Juliet). In March and April 2010, she presented in a six-part BBC TV cooking show called The Delicious Miss Dahl ( The delicious Miss Dahl ).

Since January 2010 she has been married to Jamie Cullum. The two have since March 2011 a daughter named Lyra. The March 4, 2013 is the birthday of her second daughter Margot Cullum.
