Sophie, Hereditary Princess of Liechtenstein
Hereditary Princess Sophie Elizabeth Marie Gabrielle von und zu Liechtenstein, Countess of Rietberg ( born October 28, 1967 in Munich, born Sophie Elizabeth Marie Gabrielle Duchess in Bavaria) is the oldest of five daughters of Max Emanuel Duke of Bavaria and his Swedish wife Elizabeth Christina Countess Douglas. She is the niece of the current Wittelsbach family head Franz Duke of Bavaria. Since her marriage to the heir to the throne, it is the Liechtenstein Liechtenstein citizen.
Life
Sophie grew up with her parents and her four sisters Mary, Helen, Elizabeth and Anna on in Wildbad Kreuth. In Kreuth Sophie attended elementary school in the early years. From 1978 to 1980 she attended in Heiligenstatt to the girl's home elementary school of the English Lady.
Later, Sophie moved to the secondary school for girls boarding school Schloss Hohenschwangau castle in Lenggries. 1984 to 1988 the Adolf -Weber -Gymnasium visiting in Munich, she graduated from this with the Abitur.

Hereditary Princess Sophie is a descendant of the Stuarts. It is therefore considered by the Jacobites as a future heir to the throne to the British throne. On July 3, 1993, Sophie married in the Catholic Cathedral and Parish Church of St. Florin to Vaduz the hereditary prince Alois of Liechtenstein, the eldest son of the reigning Prince Hans Adam II and Princess Marie.
